Mizoram government procures 1,379 MT of rice for refugees from Manipur, Myanmar, and Bangladesh

The Mizoram government has procured 1,379.34 metric tonnes of rice from FCI godowns for over 44,000 refugees from Manipur, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. The Ministry of Home Affairs will cover the cost while transportation is arranged by state departments. Deputy Commissioners will ensure distribution across Mizoram's 11 districts.
