The Mission for Cotton Productivity aims to boost cotton production and export by introducing new technologies to counter declining yields and climate challenges. It will support farmers with scientific advancements and promote extra-long staple (ELS) cotton, reducing cotton imports and enhancing India's textile sector competitiveness.
