MHA to facilitate career progression of ex-Agniveers

The Union Home Ministry will now coordinate the future of ex-Agniveers. This follows a government notification amending allocation rules. The ministry will work with other departments and states. An online portal will monitor the progress. The Agnipath scheme aims to lower the armed forces' age. Ex-Agniveers get job reservations in Central Armed Police Forces. Physical tests are waived for them.
