MEA issues clarification on OCI rules, says no new changes made

The Ministry of External Affairs has clarified that there have been no changes to the rules governing Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI). The Consulate General of India in New York addressed recent reports claiming restrictions on OCI card holders, stating that existing provisions from a March 2021 Gazette Notification remain unchanged.
