McDonald's linked to one death, dozens of food poisonings in US

A severe E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounders has resulted in one death and dozens of illnesses across 10 western US states. The CDC reports that Colorado and Nebraska are most affected. McDonald's is investigating slivered onions and beef patties and has removed the Quarter Pounder from select states.
