Matthew Hennessey is deputy editorial features editor at The Wall Street Journal. He is the author of "Zero Hour for Generation X" (2018) and "Visible Hand: A Wealth of Notions on the Miracle of the Market" (2022), both published by Encounter Books. A graduate of CUNY-Hunter College and Fordham University, he joined the Journal in 2017. Previously, he was an editor at City Journal.
