Former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away at 92. He took his last breath at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. The Congress veteran was being treated for age-related medical conditions. He had a sudden loss of consciousness at home and could not be revived when rushed to hospital. Dr. Singh was declared dead at 9.51 pm on December 26. He would be best remembered as the person who transformed India's economy in 1991.
