Man 'crushed by digger' on busy London high street

A man was crossing the road when he was struck by the digger (Picture: Presshop) A man has been run over by a construction digger on a busy north London high street. A forensic tent is in place in front of the Volvo vehicle on Kilburn High Street after the crash around midday on Thursday. Pictures from the scene show police erecting a cordon outside a Franca Manca on the corner of Belsize Road. The busy high street has been closed until further notice.
