Man accused of wiping out Amethi family shot in leg
Police shot Chandan Verma in the leg while recovering the gun used in the murder of a Dalit family in Amethi. Verma, who had previously harassed one of the victims, attacked a sub-inspector but was subdued by another officer. He had fled towards Delhi and was apprehended near Noida.
