Maharashtra to meet 50 pc of energy needs from non-traditional sources by 2030: Fadnavis

Maharashtra aims to become the first Indian state to produce 50% of its energy from non-traditional sources by 2030, according to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The state approved 20,000 megawatts of solar projects in two-and-a-half years, with Avaada Electro Pvt Ltd investing Rs 14,000 crore in a new facility in Nagpur.
