Maharashtra elections: Congress, NCP & Shiv Sena (UBT) to contest on 85 seats each

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance on Wednesday finalised its seat-sharing arrangement for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. As per the proposed agreement, the Congress, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) and Shiv Sena (UBT) will contest on 85 seats each and on the remaining 18 seats, the talks with alliance parties including Samajwadi Party will be cleared by tomorrow.
