The Maharashtra assembly election results have left the state without a Leader of Opposition, as no party outside the ruling Mahayuti alliance secured the required 29 seats. The ruling BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP dominated, while the opposition MVA struggled. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis retained his Nagpur South West seat, though his victory margin shrank from 2019.
