Macron orders France's nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean

France is bolstering its presence in the Middle East. President Emmanuel Macron has ordered the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Mediterranean. This move aims to safeguard allied assets during the ongoing conflict. Rafale fighter jets and air-defense systems are already deployed. Additional air-defense assets and a frigate will also reach Cyprus to support the European Union member.
