Ludhiana: How $1-billion Vardhman Group's SP Oswal lost Rs 7 crore in online scam

Ludhiana Police arrested two suspects from Guwahati for duping industrialist S P Oswal of Rs 7 crore by posing as CBI officers. The suspects convinced Oswal that his Aadhaar was misused for fraud and tricked him into transferring money. Police recovered Rs 5.2 crore, the highest amount seized in a cybercrime case in India.
