Lucknow peon spent over Rs 1 crore despite earning only Rs 33 lakh in 9 years, anti-corruption dept conducts probe

The Anti-Corruption Department has registered a case against Om Prakash Singh, a peon at the Lucknow Development Authority, for possessing disproportionate assets. An investigation revealed that between 2013 and 2022, he spent Rs 1,02,88,143 on properties while his legitimate income was only Rs 33,58,867. He failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the discrepancy.
