LoC fortified: T-72s to anchor India’s future border defence

Indias Operation Sindoor saw the deployment of T-72 tanks to the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir, forming the backbone of a decisive military response against Pakistani aggression. Supported by armoured BMP-2 vehicles and precision air defence units, the Indian Army targeted terrorist infrastructure and Pakistani military assets with accuracy. The operation exposed flaws in Pakistans artillery readiness and confirmed significant enemy casualties. Despite a pause since 10 May, India remains vigilant, with the operation still considered active.
