Leslieville residents have been trying to name a little laneway for 8 years. The story behind Luella Price

Since 2017, co-founder of the Leslieville Historical Society, Joan Doucette, has been working to get a laneway north of Gerrard Street East named after Luella Price, an influential Black woman and entrepreneur in the community in the early 20th century.
