Lawrence Bishnoi's extortion money invested in Canada, Thailand: NIA

A criminal-gangster syndicate involved in high-profile killings in Mumbai and Delhi had extorted money from various businesses across several Indian states. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) revealed that the extortion funds were sent to Thailand and Canada and invested in properties and weapons. The Khandsa Mandi in Gurugram emerged as an extortion hub.
