Law & order of poll-bound states under lens: EC suspends cops; NIA digs deeper

The Election Commission of India has suspended four police officials in West Bengal. This action follows alleged law and order failures during a roadshow and nomination event attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The National Investigation Agency is also investigating a separate incident in Malda. The EC is expanding poll infrastructure to accommodate more voters across West Bengal.
