Lakhs congregate in Puri to witness Lord Jagannath's bathing rituals
In Puri, a large number of devotees witnessed the ceremonial bathing of Lord Jagannath. The deities were brought to the Snana Mandap in a procession. 108 pitchers of sacred water were poured on the idols. The deities will now remain in isolation for 14 days. Public darshan will resume before the annual Rath Yatra.
