Kotak Bank drives Sensex over 100 points higher; Nifty above 23,200

Indian equity indices Sensex and Nifty50 opened higher on Monday, led by Kotak Mahindra Bank's robust Q3 performance with significant growth in loans and deposits. Kotak Mahindra Bank shares surged over 8% after reporting a 10% jump in net profit. Wipro shares also rose 8% following a 24% increase in consolidated net profit for the December quarter.
