Kolkata Metro records 50 lakh riders during Durga Puja – Find out how many used the underwater Howrah Maidan-Esplanade line
This marks a 1.77 per cent increase from last year's figures, reflecting the growing popularity of the metro system during the festive season. To manage the festive crowds, the Kolkata Metro extended service hours and ran special services on key festival days, including Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Dashami.
