Killed Hezbollah commander Aqil was wanted for deadly 1983 US embassy, Marine blasts

Ibrahim Aqil, a Hezbollah operations commander with a $7 million bounty, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut. Aqil was involved in the 1983 Beirut truck bombings that killed over 300 people. This is the second high-profile Hezbollah leader killed by Israel in two months, following Fuad Shukr's death in July.
