A rare and deadly brain infection, amoebic meningoencephalitis, has claimed another life in Kerala, bringing the death toll to six in the past month. Shaji, a 47-year-old from Malappuram district, passed away at Kozhikode Medical College, where ten other patients are currently receiving treatment for the infection.
