Kerala court grants bail to Sabarimala chief priest in gold loss cases

Sabarimala chief priest Kandararu Rajeevaru has been granted bail. The vigilance court approved his release in cases concerning alleged gold misappropriation from the Lord Ayyappa shrine. Rajeevaru is accused of awareness regarding the removal of gold-clad plates without following procedures in 2019. He failed to report the matter to authorities. The detailed court order is awaited.
