KC Approves New Machining Technology Certificate

The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees has approved a new Machining Technology Certificate program set to begin in the Fall 2026 semester. The 22-credit-hour program will train students in precision machining, CNC operation, and modern manufacturing processes. College officials say the certificate is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level jobs in the region’s manufacturing workforce.
