Karnataka Deputy CM asks businesses to compulsorily hoist Kannada flag on state formation day

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar announced that the Kannada flag must be hoisted at all educational institutions, businesses, and factories in Bengaluru on November 1, Karnataka's formation day. The initiative aims to encourage a love for the Kannada language. An order will be issued to enforce this, and cultural programs will also be held at schools and colleges.
