Karnataka Cabinet approves Rs 413.71 cr for upgrading BBMP hospitals

The Karnataka Cabinet has allocated Rs 413.71 crore to upgrade BBMP-run hospitals under the 'Brand Bengaluru' scheme. The project involves replacing dilapidated buildings with new ones and upgrading 13 hospitals to 30-bed and five hospitals to 50-bed capacities. Additionally, 22 dental hospitals and seven physiotherapy hospitals will be established.
