Juror, victim family members call for release of Edgar Barrientos serving life sentence for murder

Fifteen years ago, Edgar Barrientos was convicted in the drive-by-shooting death of Jesse Leon Omar Mickelson. Mickelson was 18 at the time and a student at Minneapolis Roosevelt High School who was playing football in the alley behind his house when he was killed. Barrientos was 26 years old when he was sentenced to life in prison a year later.
