JNU professor Mazhar Asif appointed Jamia Millia Islamia vice chancellor

President Droupadi Murmu appointed Mazhar Asif as vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia. Asif, a JNU professor who contributed to the National Education Policy 2020, takes over following Najma Akhtar's tenure. He brings extensive academic and leadership experience, including roles at national educational institutions.
