Jharkhand to transfer hiked monthly amount of Rs 2,500 to 5.5m women

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren will fulfill his top election promise by increasing the 'Maiya Samman' scheme's monthly payment to ₹2,500 from ₹1,000. The enhanced amount will start from December. The state government is organizing a significant event on December 28 in Ranchi, where Soren will address three lakh women beneficiaries.
