Jharkhand Police busts another Jamtara module; arrests 6 cyber criminals

Jharkhand Police arrested six cyber criminals in Jamtara involved in ₹11 crore frauds through malicious mobile apps. They used APKs mimicking schemes and banks to hack phones and steal data. The group targeted 2,500 bank account holders using artificial intelligence and ChatGPT for malware development. Assistance from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre has been sought.
