Jersey airport evacuated after security alert; flights suspended

Jersey Airport was evacuated on 5 March after a security incident at the airport in the early hours of the morning. After that flight operations were grounded while armed police and emergency teams moved swiftly to evacuate around 300 individuals from the airport. The authorities eventually established that the threat was "non-credible," but intense security screening delayed the resumption.
