Japan's Nikkei trades lower, tracking U.S. peers' declines

Japan's Nikkei share average fell 0.4%, tracking overnight declines in U.S. stock indexes amid anticipation of the Bank of Japan's policy decision. The broader Topix also declined by 0.44%.
