Japan's largest bank apologises over theft of millions of dollars from safe deposit boxes

A MUFG employee stole over $6.6 million from customer deposit boxes. The thefts occurred at two Tokyo branches. The bank is investigating and compensating victims. The employee admitted to the crime and was fired. Police are also investigating. This follows another recent crime at a Japanese financial institution.
