Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Election Phase I polling today

More than 23 lakh voters in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, including 5.66 lakh youths, will decide the fate of 219 candidates in the fray for 24 seats in the first phase of 90-member legislative assembly elections, where 42% candidates are fighting as independents and 26 parties have fielded 127 candidates.
