Jammu: Closure of schools extended till Tuesday amid heavy rains

Due to forecasts of heavy rainfall, authorities in Jammu have extended the closure of all government and private schools for another day. The University of Jammu has also postponed all examinations until September 4. The meteorological office predicts moderate to heavy rainfall in most parts of the Jammu division, raising concerns about cloudbursts, flash floods, and landslides.
