J-K politicians pip Haryana's in seeking permissions for rallies, venues

Politicians in Jammu and Kashmir have sought and received significantly more permissions for rallies and meetings compared to Haryana, according to official data. The assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir are being held in three phases starting September 18, while Haryana will have a single-phase election on October 5. The Election Commission has instructed the UT administration to grant permissions without bias or undue interference.
