J-K: Citing poll code, EC stays appointment of army officer as SSP
The Election Commission has halted the Jammu and Kashmir administration's decision to appoint an Army colonel as SSP (Training and Special Operations) due to the Model Code of Conduct being in force. The commission demanded the order be suspended immediately and a compliance report submitted by October 1.
