ISRO's total investment to date is less than a single year's budget of NASA

Space Minister Jitendra Singh recently released a report which stated that for every dollar generated by the space sector, the Indian economy has seen a multiplier effect of $2.54. ISRO has budget which is about 15 times less than what US space agency NASA spends on space. The revenue of India's space sector has grown manifold in 2023 and it is the eight largest space economy in the world.
