Israeli forces kill man accused of West Bank hammer murder

A Palestinian man who is alleged to have killed an Israeli security guard with a hammer last year was shot dead near Jenin in the West Bank after soldiers surrounded him, the Israeli military reported on Tuesday. The military and the Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency said five of the dead man's suspected accomplices had earlier been detained during an overnight operation.
