Israel begins limited pause in fighting in 3 Gaza areas as concerns over hunger mount

Amidst growing international criticism and concerns over hunger, the Israeli military initiated daily "tactical pauses" in Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, and Muwasi to facilitate increased humanitarian aid. These pauses, however, were marred by reports of deadly airstrikes, even as aid airdrops and eased restrictions were implemented.
