ISKCON Kolkata apprises Centre about attacks on its monks in Bangladesh

ISKCON Kolkata reported attacks on its monks and Hindu minorities in Bangladesh to the Indian government. Monk Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested. ISKCON urged intervention from India and the UN. Das was denied bail and imprisoned. Threats against ISKCON and other Hindu groups have increased in recent months. Authorities in Bangladesh have not taken sufficient action.
