IRS sending $1,400 checks to over a million taxpayers: Are You Eligible? And how to get it?

The IRS is distributing $2.4 billion in stimulus payments. One million taxpayers will receive these payments. These taxpayers did not claim the Recovery Rebate Credit. The payments will arrive by direct deposit or check. The maximum payment is $1,400. Eligible taxpayers need not take any action. The IRS will send notification letters.
