Iranian president arrives in Moscow for treaty signing with Vladimir Putin

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is visiting Moscow to sign a strategic partnership treaty with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The treaty will focus on closer defence cooperation. This visit marks Pezeshkians first Kremlin visit since winning the presidency. The discussions will cover bilateral ties and international issues. Western sanctions and their circumvention are also expected to be discussed.
