India's oilmeals export down 35 pc in Sep to nearly 2.14 lakh tonnes: Trade data

India's oilmeals export dropped by 35 per cent to 2,13,744 tonnes in the last month, with significant declines in soyabean, rapeseed, and castorseed meals. Overall, April-September 2024 exports fell by 9 per cent to 20,82,533 tonnes. Despite this, soyabean meal exports surged due to higher demand from the UAE, Iran, and France.
