India's monsoon season ends with 7.6% more rainfall than normal, says IMD
The 2024 monsoon season has concluded with 7.6 per cent more rainfall than the normal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Several states, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, west Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, experienced excess rainfall.
