Indian Oil-GPS JV to set up 10 biogas plants at Rs 1,200 crore
Indian Oil Corporation and GPS Renewables have formed a joint venture, IOC GPS Renewables, to establish 10 compressed biogas plants at a cost of Rs 1,200 crore. These plants will convert organic waste into CBG, a renewable energy source, and also produce fertilizers and biomass pellets.
