Indian Army to place orders for 300 indigenous Dhanush Howitzers

The Indian Army is set to acquire 300 Dhanush Howitzers. This significant order will establish 15 new regiments of these indigenous artillery guns. The Dhanush, based on Bofors technology, will enhance the Army's firepower. This marks the second major procurement of these 155 mm 45-calibre guns. The Defence Ministry is expected to approve the order soon.
