Indian Army, IAF seek 200 light Helicopters to replace ageing Chetak-Cheetah fleet

The Defence Ministry is seeking to replace its aging Chetak and Cheetah helicopters with 200 modern Reconnaissance and Surveillance Helicopters (RSH) for the Army and Air Force. This initiative aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, emphasizing indigenous production of various defense platforms, including fighters, transport aircraft, and helicopters, to bolster self-reliance and support the domestic defense industry.
